The article named Racist Hunger Games Fans Are Very Dissapointed, explains how some people react to the characters, Thresh, Cinna and most of all Rue in the movie The Hunger Games. Some of the people that watched the movie was very racist and "oblivious" to the fact that these characters were black. Throughout the book the author does not fail to mentions the physical characteristics of the characters but when they go see the movie they are shocked because the characters are black. Maybe some of the readers are so closed minded that we they read that Rue is black they don't even pay attention to it but as soon as they watch the movie is a big deal. some people said that the murder of Rue would have been more thrilling or sympathy if the she wasn't black. That, personally I don't understand. So that means if I'm not white, I'm not worthy enough for you to be sympathetic. Even though I was killed brutally?! Seriously many people should keep their mouth shut when it comes to being racist because at the end of the day you are the one that is going to be hated by all the hate that you have for no reason. Its sad how after all the things that has gone on in America to have free African Americans and most of all trying to stop racism, people cant still look beyond the color of the skin of others. I am glad a person did an article like this because it explains the racism still going on in the USA as well as the blogger posting negative feedback of others once they saw the movie. Sad but true ...

For my final essay, the character that I choose from The Hunger Game is Katniss and the scene when her and Peeta are presenting themselves to the crowd with fire. I choose Katniss and this scene because in this scene you can see the reaction that Katniss has towards the people that are applauding and shouting her name but at the end of the day it is a game in which they are killing themselves to stay alive. This scene would  emphasize more on Katniss reactions and thought towards how she feels about herself, the crowd and most of all Peeta. I think that that is the most important part of the essay that i would like to emphasize more because in the story we see that Katniss has feeling for Peeta but is not very open about as he is. In this essay I want Katniss to be more open and really say what she feels about him. This would be the biggest challenge since we all know that in the book she is very to herself.

                                              Fear VS Passion
As I sit in the bus I find myself with a man starring at me
His eyes are hazel but look like fire,
Our eyes are naked intertwined to us and all I can feel is my heart coming out of my chest
I must have seen this person before,
his eyes may be hazel but its a hideous person to look at
He comes up to me and i look away, touches me and I jump, ran out the bus
And there he is with her hazel eyes looking at me with such passion but at the same time fear
Feeling a sensation inside me that I've never felt this way before but I cant see him anymore,
he is hideous...

In this blog I am writing on the analysis that Michael Vance created for The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde. Vance shows the satire of marriage that Wilde created in the play and also show how society portrays marriage . In the play the characters portray themselves to be the opposite of nonchalant when it comes to marriage in a sense that marriage is a very important thing for them especially in the society status that they are in. It is an important factor in their lives but doesn't mean what marriage is to most people.
The satire of marriage that Wilde created was a way of mockery towards society in their concept of marriage. Michael Vance writes "The plot of the play is built upon the desires of two young men to marry two young women who in turn desire to marry only men named Ernest." The whole concept of love and being with the man or women you want to be with is not even close to what marriage means in that play. Also in the analysis Vance mentions how the concept of love and happiness is simply over once you are married. Marriage is mostly about desire and having a specific name to be accepted as a husband. I believe Oscar Wilde did ta mockery of society and their concept of marriage to show the readers in those times society or should we say the high class, that they were so naive to get into marriage having those kinds of concept towards it even though in today's society there is a fifty percent chance that you would divorce your spouse.

The relationship that I have to language its i can say, ordinary. I was raised with the spanish language. My maiden language was suppose to be english because i was born in the US but since everyone in my family speaks spanish and didn't know english, so spanish became my first language. When I began the 3rd grade my parents changed my spanish classes to english because they didn't understand why I was in spanish class if I was born here and should be thought english like everyone else. From that day I learned how to speak english but I tend to only use it in school or in jobs. When I get home its all about spanish only for the fact that my mother doesn't know english. When it comes to my friends I actually speak spanglish. Its not a language but I tend to talk like that. Using both english and spanish in one sentence. I only speak like that to my friends that speak  both languages. Sometime I forget  that some of my friends only speak one language and so they look at me like I'm crazy because I'm saying some things they don't understand.
I believe that language occurs with the people and places you are surrounded with. For example, the spanish language has many countries that speak that language but every country differentiates themselves by using different words, accents, tones etc. But also when you are lets say in school or at your job, you tend to speak more proper for the fact that you was thought to do that. I believe it is the same how you learn to speak the second language. If you surround yourself lets say in a classroom of people trying to learn english and that is what you constantly listen, start talking and comprehending then you will learn just as the first one. The thing that i wonder about language would be, how does our brain tell our mouth to portray the language it releases it.
