BP # 1

The relationship that I have to language its i can say, ordinary. I was raised with the spanish language. My maiden language was suppose to be english because i was born in the US but since everyone in my family speaks spanish and didn't know english, so spanish became my first language. When I began the 3rd grade my parents changed my spanish classes to english because they didn't understand why I was in spanish class if I was born here and should be thought english like everyone else. From that day I learned how to speak english but I tend to only use it in school or in jobs. When I get home its all about spanish only for the fact that my mother doesn't know english. When it comes to my friends I actually speak spanglish. Its not a language but I tend to talk like that. Using both english and spanish in one sentence. I only speak like that to my friends that speak  both languages. Sometime I forget  that some of my friends only speak one language and so they look at me like I'm crazy because I'm saying some things they don't understand.
I believe that language occurs with the people and places you are surrounded with. For example, the spanish language has many countries that speak that language but every country differentiates themselves by using different words, accents, tones etc. But also when you are lets say in school or at your job, you tend to speak more proper for the fact that you was thought to do that. I believe it is the same how you learn to speak the second language. If you surround yourself lets say in a classroom of people trying to learn english and that is what you constantly listen, start talking and comprehending then you will learn just as the first one. The thing that i wonder about language would be, how does our brain tell our mouth to portray the language it releases it.
